2012-2-22 Hibiscus and More
A friend of mine who lives in Pennsylvania uploaded some nice macro pics to Facebook—hibiscus no less—and inspired me to get out of the house (in Mobile Alabama) and shoot a few. Haven't done that in a while.
For most of the pics I used my D3100 with the 55-300 lens 'cause I don't have a macro. The depth of field is a bit shallow but I'm fairly pleased with most of these.
The last ones #23-#35 were shot with my "backup" Canon SX30 IS. Man! I've got to get more familiar with that camera. It does a more than acceptable job.
