Gulfport / Longbeach_Anniversary_2-14-2013 : 37th anniversary. Went to Gulfport to the Blow Fly Inn for a late lunch then cruised the beach road for a bit. Stopped and took some pics. It was a nice day and we enjoyed ourselves. I decided to limit myself to using the Canon PowerShot SX30 IS. I usually take it to supplement the D3100 but I'm finding as I work with it that it's not just handy, it takes some remarkable photos.

Vickie Pics Gulfport / Longbeach 2-14-2013 : Vickie shoots with a compact Nikon L110. She wanted something light and easy to use. She takes some great photos with it but, rather like my writing, she doesn't share much. In fact, I took it upon myself to upload these. I do enjoy the difference in the way we see things. She is more detailed oriented than I am. She remembers to take photos of plaques and signs so we can recall where we were. She also sees and photographs things I overlook and gets tremendously interesting images. I sometimes think I try too hard and she is more relaxed and it is reflected in our photos. I need to include more of her photos in this Evendozen Gallery.
