We've lived in Mobile over 30 years and had never seen the Pensacola lighthouse which is about 50 miles away.
In fact, we really didn't know where it is and were surprised when we realized it is on the Pensacola Naval Air Station.
But what really surprised me was that I was still able — with a couple "rest stops" to make it to the top.
